DNV – Request a Street Tree

Did you know that you can request a street tree from the District of North Vancouver for your boulevard?

A street tree is any tree on a District-owned boulevard that was planted by the District or by individuals or groups acting with our permission, such as developers and community groups. It does not include trees planted by residents, or those that occurred naturally from seed.

The District’s nearly 5,000 street trees are essential to our community’s beautiful, natural character. They shade and cool our livable spaces in the summer, intercept and absorb storm water throughout the year, and sequester carbon from the atmosphere.
